Why this exists
Job hunting is one of the loneliest things you can do.

I know that feeling. I was applying to roles while trying to make the same experience sound right for ten different job descriptions. Different industries, different formats, different expectations. The work behind the application was almost as exhausting as the job itself.
So I built something to take that specific part off my plate. It worked. My friends wanted it. That told me I wasn't the only one.
Appliq exists because job hunting is already hard enough without the admin making it harder. We're not going to promise you a job; that would be dishonest. What we will do is keep building, keep listening to everyone who uses this, and keep removing friction from a process that has too much of it.

We're also honest that we're small and new: full encryption isn't built out yet, but it's actively on our roadmap, not an afterthought we'll get to “someday.” Until then, give us the same sensible caution you'd give any new tool, and we'll keep being straight with you about exactly where things stand.
